Andrew has applied his wide and varied experience in the health and public sector to a range of significant assignments since joining Finnamore Management Consultants in 2002.

These have included:

Service reviews of acute, community and mental health services.
Strategic service plans including Strategic Service Development Plans underpinning primary care developments and LIFT.
Service development for PCT providers.
Health and well being strategies.
Commissioning strategies including, one for a national service.
Applications for Foundation Trust status and the development of FT integrated business plans.
Support for providers submitting service tenders.
Business planning and capacity planning (including for a national service).

 

Andrew is also part of The Health Foundation National Support Team for the Co-Creating Health Initiative with specific responsibility for supporting service improvement in services for depression in Torbay and Wandsworth.

For over thirteen years before going into consultancy, Andrew held a range of management posts in the NHS in acute, primary care and community sectors. For six years, Andrew was Director of Community and Primary Services for Enfield Community Care NHS Trust. Following this, as a Review Manager for the Commission for Health Improvement (CHI), Andrew took responsibility for several clinical governance reviews of acute and mental health Trusts.

Prior to working in health, for ten years Andrew taught in secondary schools in England and abroad, His PhD thesis was based on relationships between hospital and community health services in Hong Kong.
