Caroline van Luttmer

Caroline is a Managing Consultant with Finnamore Management Consultants. She has wide ranging experience in leading consultancy assignments, and has a significant profile of work in Wales (including working for several years for the NHS in Wales). She is a strong facilitator, with her most recent experience in this area being working with Boards of NHS Foundation Trust applicants. Experience areas include those below.
Primary Care/Community Care.
Caroline has worked on a number of NHS LIFT projects including one of the largest LIFT projects, Oxford NHS LIFT. She has also advised on the development of business cases for a variety of community based services and has worked with PCTs to develop investment strategies for health communities. Caroline has also recently advised a County Council on the procurement of Social Care Services.
PFI/PPP.
Caroline has advised both over 20 PFI/PPP schemes ranging from large hospital developments to specialist service centres. As well as providing financial and commercial advice, Caroline has been a Project Manager for a number of developments. Caroline has also lead commercial negotiations on behalf of the NHS.
Foundation Trust Applications.
Caroline has advised Trusts on the preparation of their Integrated Business plan and Long Term Financial Model in preparation for the FT application process. Caroline has also undertaken work on behalf of Monitor and the Department of Health in assessing FT applications.
NHS Turnaround.
Caroline has worked with PCTs and acute Trusts that require assistance in managing their financial performance, whist continuing to deliver high quality services.
