John Deverill
MBE CEng MIHM
John is a Director of Finnamore Management Consultants. His main areas of interest include all aspects of strategy development, policy, planning, management and delivery across the health service and UK public sector. While most of his work is in UK, John is a multilingual chartered engineer, with highly developed skills in leadership and the delivery of change in complex systems, business process design, programme and project management, and management information systems solutions development.
Two of the consulting assignments John has led have won prestigious Management Consulting Association (MCA) awards.
John has developed class-leading ideas on the creation of customer value in the public sector, capability modelling, delivery planning, portfolio management, prototyping systems development, and has developed and managed a number of methodologies for running different stages of business change. While his career spans years of consulting experience centred on change and programme management across various areas of the public sector in UK, in recent years he has concentrated on strategic healthcare planning, commissioning and performance improvement in the health sector.
John has been awarded the MBE and Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service, is a member of various technical institutions and 2 leading government think-tanks.
