Paul Gray

Paul is an experienced healthcare manager who specialises in strategic and service planning. Paul joined Finnamore Management Consultants in 2007 following a number of years in strategic health consulting and a 12-year career as a senior manager in the NHS. He entered the National Health Service in 1993 through the NHS Management Training Scheme and has substantial operational experience in acute hospitals and in community services, as well as Board level experience in planning and strategic roles.
Paul now supports health organisations with strategic thinking and strategic planning. Most recently Paul supported the development of a PCT commissioning strategy, led the development of a PCT provider services strategy and has undertaken service and project major reviews with acute provider organisations.
Paul is a skilled facilitator with extensive experience of working with clinicians and senior managers to redesign services, and to plan and deliver change. Paul also has considerable expertise and experience in using data to understand, analyse and model changes within health systems, and using these tools to inform the planning process and manage risk.
